Silvia Lospennato accused Karina Milei of favoring Kirchnerism: "She prioritized a partisan interest."

Silvia Lospennato , PRO candidate for Buenos Aires legislator, questioned the decision of La Libertad Avanza ( LLA ) to split the electoral offer in the elections for the Buenos Aires Legislature to be held on May 18. " I did everything I could to prevent this situation from happening. I told many of them that it was important to try not to split the vote anywhere, not just in the City of Buenos Aires ," she lamented.
In this regard, Mauricio Macri's candidate maintained that the decision was made by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, who "prioritized partisan interests" over the model. "It's not a decision in favor of the people of Buenos Aires because the City of Buenos Aires has all these things on which we have already agreed and implemented: we have had a balanced budget for many years, we have a surplus."
"We've lowered taxes, and we've allocated the surplus to two things: lowering taxes and increasing public investment. So, honestly, this fiscal balance model isn't needed here because it already exists ," Silvia Lospennato explained in an interview with AM990.
On the other hand, Lospennato questioned his rivals Manuel Adorni and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta , whom he blamed for the dispersion of the anti-Kirchnerist vote and warned that "losing against Leandro Santoro would be terrible" both for each political party, as well as for the Buenos Aires project to prevent the return of Kirchnerism.
"Adorni said he didn't mind narrowly losing to Santoro. That reveals he has no interest in the people of Buenos Aires. Losing to Santoro is terrible. Santoro and Kirchnerism winning the election is very bad for the people of Buenos Aires . I want to win this election against Kirchnerism, which is currently leading in the polls," Silvia Lospennato asserted.
"We, the list I lead, are going to beat Santoro. The people of Buenos Aires don't feel represented by Santoro's Kirchnerist list, which includes La Cámpora, Grabois, and Massa. That's not the true representation of the people of Buenos Aires," stated the PRO leader, who made it clear that she is willing to defeat Kirchnerism.
Continuing with her criticism, the leader took aim at Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, who abruptly left the PRO and presented his list: " He has decided to leave the PRO and play against the PRO . He will then have to explain his personal reasons for doing so. Perhaps he has already said it: he intends to be head of government with a new party. He left alone. The team stayed here," she stated.
"In these elections, many candidates don't care about the legislature. They're looking to see if they can be head of government, like Larreta, for example."
